What We Believe
God's promise to bless His people with land will come to fruition because of His faithfulness. When Israel turns away from God she will experience discipline. However, the Lord will remain faithful to His covenant and fulfill His promise. Ultimately, He accomplishes his covenant purposes through the Son of David, Jesus Christ.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." (Romans 3:23-24)
Humanity is in need of salvation, as sin separates us from God. But through His infinite love, God provided a way for us to be reconciled with Him. Jesus Christ, through His sacrifice on the cross, offers us the gift of salvation. By believing in Him, we are forgiven, redeemed, and granted eternal life. "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
Sins & Forgiveness" is a central theme in the Bible, highlighting the human condition and God's grace.
Sins: The Bible teaches that all humans are prone to sin, which is any action, thought, or behavior that goes against God's will. Sin separates us from God, leading to spiritual death. As Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Forgiveness: Despite our sins, God offers forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Jesus' sacrifice on the cross paid the penalty for our sins, offering us a way to be reconciled with God. 1 John 1:9 promises, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
In His forgiveness, God not only pardons our sins but also restores us to a right relationship with Him, demonstrating His boundless love and mercy.
The Bible is God's Word, a collection of sacred texts that reveal His will, character, and plan for humanity. It consists of the Old and New Testaments, telling the story of creation, sin, salvation, and the life of Jesus Christ. The Bible serves as a guide for faith, offering wisdom, instruction, and the promise of eternal life through belief in Jesus. "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" (Psalm 119:105).
